Licensing & Clinical Privileges

CBAM programs are open to licensed medical doctors and maxillofacial surgeons. Plastic Surgeons, Dermatologists, and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons generally practice aesthetic medicine within the scope of their specialty. Physicians from other specialties, including General Practitioners, are eligible to attend CBAM programs and receive certification.

The Diploma Program offered by CBAM in Dubai is DHA approved and delivered under Yugen Care by Dr. Gihad.

Final privileging decisions are made in accordance with applicable DHA or DOH regulations (applicable to Abu Dhabi) and the policies and requirements of the employing healthcare facility.

Is the program online or in person?
It is hybrid. All theory is delivered online at your own pace; the hands-on component must be completed in person at the Dubai training center (Yugen Care, Jumeirah).
Do I practice on real patients?
Yes. All hands-on sessions are conducted on live models in small groups, with one expert trainer per practical station. CBAM provides all models and products.
What is the difference between the Diploma and Board Certification?
The Diploma covers foundational and advanced injectables plus PRP (21+ courses). Board Certification adds 20 more courses, a 2-day Master Injector program, and a formal examination pathway (case submission, MCQ, and OSCE exams), awarding two credentials.
What will I learn in the hands-on training?
The curriculum covers neurotoxin injection zones (upper, mid, and lower face), dermal filler techniques with needle and cannula, lip and jawline contouring, PRP and regenerative protocols, and recognition and management of vascular complications.
Is the CBAM certificate recognized internationally?
CBAM is an independent Canadian board headquartered in Toronto and Vancouver. Its curriculum and credential are delivered identically across licensed training centers in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Georgia, Nepal, and the Philippines.
